I am hoping for some crown knowledge. My son (16 years) suffers from Visual Snow Syndrome for as long as he can remember. He is doing his GCSE’s in a couple of months. His visual snow static varies in intensity due to stress, poor sleep etc. Although he can cope with it most of the days, when it is at it’s worst he sees like looking through milk glass and is de facto blind as he cannot make out any details, he cannot make out any writing nor can he write. This is obviously a massive issue when writing an exam.
Has anyone gone through the same and if so what did you do to cope/help you? Does anyone have experience with exam boards and provisions that can be put in place to help with regards to Visual Snow Syndrome? Maybe have an oral exam should the visual snow be too bad or be able to re sit it another time?
